We all have stressors. Marital stress is a common one that can make your life unravel in the blink of an eye. In marriage it takes two strong partners to make it through the trials and tribulations that happen in today’s modern world. That being said one partner cannot hold all of the stress. Marriage is about love first and foremost. Marriage can be a wonderful experience as long as you have the tools to make it through the bad times along with the good. When the bad times come couples learn more about each other than the good times. There is always a lesson to be learned under that rain cloud. Good times are easy anybody can deal with those. When you sit back and think of the bad times you will automatically think, how did my partner support me when that happened.

In life we can never predict what will happen. In my life I have always been drawn to helping others. Something as a simple hand on the shoulder when one needs to be comforted can be enough. There are different things you and your partner can do to make life a little bit better. One of those things is when you are having a conversation with each other sit next to your spouse. Think of it like this, united front together against the world. It is less invasive when talking to be shoulder to shoulder and you will automatically feel more at ease when entering the conversation. When you sit across from a person to have a conversation you automatically put your defense mechanism up. It is almost like you are ready to square off for a fight. So, shoulder to shoulder against the world. Don’t sign up for more fight then you need.
